I’m honoured that my entry was shortlisted and awarded an Honorable Mention prize by the expert jury in the 2020 edition of International Photography Awards in Professional – People, Street Photography category!
I entered the contest for the first time in 2020 and submitted only a single image as an entry.
The jury judged a total of 13.000 entries from 120 countries around the world to select the category winners and the finalists.
’Cities should be described as a thought or a memory of a feeling. The “cityscapes” that start with the sight of a tower somewhere and continue with the nationality rate of the population and the calories consumed by the natives at noon and in the evening are always frustrating me and making me bored. All this is irrelevant. A city is above all a thought that does not fit in the land register.’ | Sándor Márai | The Four Seasons | Cityscapes
