{"id":56207,"date":"2022-07-03T00:10:00","date_gmt":"2022-07-02T22:10:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/krisztiantota.com\/?p=56207"},"modified":"2022-07-03T00:19:12","modified_gmt":"2022-07-02T22:19:12","slug":"mate-regatta-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/krisztiantota.com\/en\/mate-regatta-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"MATE Regatta 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On 24-26 June 2022 <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.uni-mate.hu\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences<\/a> organized the large-scale MATE Regatta Dragon Boat Festival in <a href=\"http:\/\/szarvas.hu\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Szarvas<\/a>, on the banks of Holt-K\u0151r\u00f6s.<\/p>\n\n<p>After a forced break due to the coronavirus pandemic, the dragon boat race returned to its traditional venue, this time under the name I. MATE Regatta.<\/p>\n\n<p>21 teams delegated by university staff and students and, for the first time in the history of regattas, 2 teams representing high schools entered the event, in which nearly seven hundred people participated as competitors or fans.<\/p>\n\n<p>On Friday competitors got themselves ready for the races with a huge party, and the downpour that put an end to Saturday&#8217;s race sooner than it  was scheduled was also followed by a closing party with a great atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
